You have done a wonderful job with your organization of the reunion and orchestration of the distribution of information.  My family and I will unfortunately not be able to attend the reunion this year.   We know the event will be a success and hope to welcome the family to Atlanta one summer!!

I am excited and looking forward to attending with my boys.  It will be an honor to expose them to the rich history of our family!

Hello Family, I want to take this opportunity to relay to you the information regarding the memorial arrangements for Mr. Walter Brown Sr., whose passing on Monday, the Third of November, Two Thousand and Fourteen left a void with many of us. Many thanks and deep appreciation to those who have reached out to offer support and well wishes. For those who are able to attend, the funeral proceedings will be held at the Cypress Lawn Mortuary (1370 El Camino Real, Colma, Ca) on Friday, the Twenty-Eighth of November, Two Thousand and Fourteen at One Oclock PM PST. Mr. Walter Brown Sr. will join Mrs. Geneva Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Vander, and Ophilia Allen in his final resting place. We are hopeful that you are able to join us for this reflection upon his life, as well as on the life and times of the Brown elders that have moved on to look over the family. There will be an Open House/ Fellowship @ 66 Bayview, San Francisco, CA on Wednesday the Twenty- Sixth and Thursday the Twenty- Seventh, from Four PM to Seven PM. A Reception/Repast will follow the funeral on the Twenty Eighth at the aforementioned address, also from Four PM to Seven PM. Again, all of your communications and well wishes are greatly appreciated by "Uncle Walt", and all of us. ******************************************************************

Hey Family, sorry for the delayed post but I just wanted to let you know that I and my family had a great time at the reunion. I wish my dad could have been there but it really means a lot to me to meet his family. Im sorry that we couldnt stay longer, and that we didnt get to meet all of you but toddlers and babies are demanding! Hopefully they will be more cooperative at the next reunion, and my oldest ( who will be 16 by then, AGGHHHHH!) will be able to attend as well! XO

We truly enjoyed ourselves. We can\'t wait until the next one. Two years is too long. The cousin from Chicago, Barbara Jean, she\'s a blast!

comment by Theresa McBrooks

Dear Tony and Anne, You are fantastic and did a tremendous job.  The children said they enjoyed this one even more than Long Beach, 2007.  I believe it is because they are becoming more familiar with the family, and more comfortable.  That\'s a good thing because one day they\'ll need to pass on what they learn from these family gatherings to their offspring. Count me in for a donation to continue the website.  Again, thanks and God bless you all. Love, Theresa

comment by Mary Alice Pinckney

Wow !!!  what a rich heritage I come from . Sometimes watching the world evenings news, I feel so frail.  But with family so close and so strong and so EDUCATED, I somehow feel "safe"  I am 46 yrs old.  I play the drums bass and am learning to read and write compose on piano.  I am known respected and even revered by my friends from "the Hood" and educated musicians in the church that further cultivate and refine my musical experiences.Family members also like Bill Brown and Aunt Maugerite and My "Mudder" Shirley Marie Brown.I love God and want to join others that have gone before and burdened themselves to do "international missions" ministry through music, finanically providing, nutrition, community building, better living conditions, clean water, disciple fathers so that christian the family structure that is defined and taught through the scripture of the bible of Jesus Christ will make their life in this world and the world easier to have and more enjoyable or "abundant"Education and biblical teaching to the poor countires where those who speak and cry  --the truth be told--   are kept from being heard and seen.Except by God and those who God would have to feel their pain and hear them cry and attend to their needs in provision and healing.I want to Marry a christian wife and be a father. And be a helper of the stronger young people, the ones that will have to try to be leaders of our mess. So young people of all races can more easily openly face before God, "Satan"make the choices fight the battles for those that they wil be held responsible for.  The undesirable sides of the human heart and darker things of the world. Freedom, Happiness, Information, Education, that is controlled, and made to seem just not able to be had by some, when it really is. Evil and it\'s Lover\'s laying invisible mental traps of abstract, difficult, elusive, and financial, difficult, battles that causes manufactured strife. Smoke screens that cover historical weaknesses of the past and current generations and potentially future as only God would allow.  And the good minds and noble hearts of new young blooded leaders can get to work without delay confusion and frustration and strife. From having to painstakingly sift the problems that weaken and divide good while in the process of time passing people die.People who want goodness for all of us.  Like God Does   :  )

Hello family,I was fortunate enough to visit Kansas City, Mo during the month of June.  Aunt Margarite came by the hotel and picked me up and showed me a good time while there. We talked everyday and I really enjoyed her spirit and closeness, so let make this and every reunion one to remember.  Oh yeah, Gates Bar-B-Que was not bad at all.

comment by Mrs. Marguerite Brooks

Congratulations, Tony Robinson on organizing the Brown/Ewing Reunion for 2010. I remember Moma Brown asking Girlie and I, "why can\'t we have a happy occasion". We planned the first reunion and she died the next year. We need to keep the legacy going. Family is forever.       I am looking forward to seeing all of you for the reunion. I will be there and I hope you are too. Aunt Marguerite,  daughter of Anna & William Brown.

comment by Walter Jr.

Tony, thanks for moving forward with the Reunion. The time is never right, but so much time is slipping by and opportunities to learn from our history and each other- gotta do something... Thanks Cuz
